Dear Member,
To help deal with the upcoming negotiations on the Westminster
Council-wide reorganisation we will be setting up a steering committee.
This committee will meet weekly or fortnightly (depending on where we
are in the negotiations) and discuss the councils plans.
It is through the steering committee that your
negotiators will know what particular issues members feel the most
strongly about and it is vital that your views are heard here.
It is important to have as wide a representation on the committee as
possible both in terms of area of work and level within the
organisation and I would encourage as many people to apply as possible.
We will endeavour to accommodate everyone's request for a place however
in the event that demand is high we will give priority to those
departments that would be under represented.
