Following Westminster UNISON successfully arguing that staff in the City Council are entitled to a half days leave for Christmas Shopping, Housing 21 Management have conceded that they must also provide it for over 60 transferred staff.
The hard work of Housing 21 UNISON reps has paid off as now negotiations are taking place on how best to meet our back pay claim for up to 6 years. Westminster UNISON Housing 21 Convenor Gina O'Connor said "I am so pleased that after all this time we have won what was rightly ours all along. This means a lot to our members, many of whom are very low paid".
